January 24th, 2009 - GMR will be attending Crossfire's, Operation: Eagle's Nest, the annual Winter Event at Tolcom this coming weekend.

Attack on Eagle's Nest V has been an on going event for the past 5 years within the Jollinski/Tollingrad Winter Series.

Scenario:

"Galizien have contact Jollinski and have set up a meeting. Counter terrorism forces from many countries in the region and outside the area do not want this meeting to take place.

The terrain is tough, the weather is unpredictable, the Galizien’s have fought hard in the past when outsiders have entered this area and last but not least dealing with Jollinski is never a cake walk."

GMR is now showing in Chelsea.
by GMR-Strike on Wed Jun 11, 2008 12:45 pm
Over the past year the unit has been closely followed by a talented photographer who is now putting an exhibition featuring his journey with us. To photograph the Green Mountain Rangers (GMR), Lucas Thorpe joined them for practice sessions on Long Island; at an urban combat training center at Fort Knox, Kentucky; and during a four-day event on an island off the coast of Sweden with more than 2,000 participants from around the world.

GMR Returns from OP: Blackjack
by GMR-Strike on Fri May 30, 2008 10:20 am
GMR has returned from the MOUT facility at Camp Blanding, FL where we participated in Operation Blackjack. The unit fired off an unreal 200,000+ rounds in only two days and was able to successfully complete all of its objectives for the weekend. More importantly, we were able to meet a number of quality operators from here and the UK. Thank you to Roundhouse Productions, Mind Game Productions, and Airsoft International for putting together the event.

Below are a few pictures from the event, plenty more to come. We also ran (2) helmet cams so be ready for a full video release shortly!

One last note, we have also named a new recipient of the Honorary GMR Unit Patch, Nathan. The unit first ran across Nate while maneuvering into position for the assault on Zulu scenario 1. He was on the verge of being one of many heat casualties that day, but with some help from our unit medic was able to get on his feet and continue to fight. Nate's ability to bounce back and fight through the rest of the operation exemplified all of the qualities that we love to see on the field. Here's a shot of us together.

Congrats sir!

The unit is currently finalizing our schedule for the rest of the year so stay tuned for an announcement on our next deployment.
